What I Offer

Nervous System Education

Learn how the nervous system responds to stress, threat, and everyday experiences.

Using accessible education and an introduction to Polyvagal Theory, participants explore the connection between physiology, emotions, thoughts, behavior, and the body.

────────

Embodied Workshops

Move beyond simply learning about the nervous system and begin to experience it.

My workshop-style offerings combine education, guided discussion, and practical embodied practices that participants can take with them into everyday life.

────────

Somatic Practices

Accessible, body-based tools for developing nervous system awareness and regulation.

Depending on the group, practices may include:

• Breathwork & tactical breathing

• Sensory orientation

• Grounding practices

• Mindfulness & interoception

• Embodied movement

• Trauma-informed yoga

• Guided reflection

The Workshop Experience

Learn → Explore → Embody → Integrate

LEARN

An accessible introduction to nervous system physiology, stress responses, trauma-informed principles, and Polyvagal Theory.

EXPLORE

Guided conversation about how stress responses show up in real-life situations, both personally and professionally.

EMBODY

Participants experience practical tools through breath, sensory awareness, grounding, movement, and other somatic practices.

INTEGRATE

We connect these practices back to everyday life so participants leave with tangible tools they can continue using.

────────

Why Embodiment?

Because understanding something intellectually isn’t always enough.

Stress is not only something we think about. It is something we experience in the body.

Embodied practices create opportunities to notice breath, sensation, tension, movement, activation, and other signals from the nervous system.

The goal isn’t to eliminate stress.

It’s to develop a deeper relationship with the nervous system—and more tools for navigating what we experience.

Tailored to the People in the Room

Every organization, department, and community is different.

I tailor each workshop to the culture, needs, and comfort level of the group so the experience feels relevant, respectful, and immediately useful.

Workshops can be offered as:

One-Time Workshops

Educational and experiential sessions introducing nervous system awareness and practical regulation tools.

Wellness Programming

Ongoing or recurring offerings that complement an organization’s existing wellness and resilience initiatives.

Specialized Group Sessions

Adapted programming for first responders, veterans, recovery communities, helping professionals, and other high-stress populations.

A Little About My Approach

My work brings together psychology, massage therapy, yoga, nervous system education, and trauma-informed somatic practices.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Yoga Teacher, with advanced training in trauma-informed somatic practices and Polyvagal Theory.

My approach integrates psychology-informed education with accessible body-based practices to create practical, sustainable tools for nervous system awareness and resilience.

“If I Had These Tools Earlier…”

At a recent veterans’ workshop, a retired police officer with 30 years of service shared how meaningful he felt this kind of education could have been earlier in his career.

He reflected that having access to tools like these may have helped him navigate difficult calls with greater clarity and confidence—and better transition away from that heightened state afterward.

His reflection stayed with me.

People deserve access to practical tools for understanding and caring for their nervous systems—especially those who spend their lives carrying the weight of others.
